Where Should You Base?

Phoenix Raceway is in Avondale in the West Valley—close to Goodyear, Litchfield Park, and Tolleson, with Glendale and Peoria a bit farther north. Downtown Phoenix and Sky Harbor International Airport are east; Scottsdale and the East Valley (Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert) are further still. If you want the shortest drive on race days, choose West Valley parks within 10–20 miles. If you prefer broader dining or nightlife—and don’t mind a longer drive—parks 20–35+ miles away expand your options.

Plan Your Trip

Most race fans base in the West Valley for shorter drives. Build a buffer for pre-race parking and post-race traffic. For off-track days, explore Glendale’s Westgate Entertainment District, Downtown Phoenix, or a Sonoran Desert hike—then come back to a full-hookup site with everything you need.
